Most Disliked

While The Nags Head offers a fantastic dining experience, some guests note that the new menu may take a little time to fully settle in as the management adapts to the changing tastes. Occasionally, there have been comments about wait times during peak hours, especially on busy Sundays. Some diners also mention the need for more variety in dessert options, hoping for a few more indulgent choices to end their meals on a sweet note. Despite these minor critiques, the overall experience remains positive for most.

Amazing pub, amazing atmosphere, amazing food and even better staff! I came here for the a nice meal on Friday and ended up spending the rest of the weekend there, as you can see in the pictures the food is lovely and brilliant portion sizes. There are 2 big open fires which make the pub so cosy and warm! And could not thank the staff enough with how attentive and quick they were with the service. Me and my mum will definitely be back and I highly recommend to anyone passing by:)

Telephoned at short notice for Sunday lunch and checked they could accommodate us and luckily they could. Plenty of parking, the staff were very friendly, professional and so welcoming. The food did not disapoint either. We both had the beef and were very full and satisfied after the meal. Nice traditional pub with excellent staff and great food. Hope to return.

Very nice meal, lovely food and service was good. Chatty and friendly staff, would happily recommend. Have known the pub for years living quite close but haven’t been in for a while. Has been under new management for about a year apparently and would advise people locally to give it a try and revisit. Will happily be going back. Dogs friendly too.

We stopped in for a quick pitstop, evening meal at the Nags head. Greeted by a warm welcome from polite staff. The menu had a good choice of culinary delights, seasonal veg, choice of meats and good vegetarian options. My Choice of Steak was cooked to perfection. The Gaots cheese tart was well accompanied with salad and new potatoes. All devoured in a Cosy Country Pub. Thank you.
